Beckman Institute Executive Committee

The Beckman Institute Executive Committee is a standing committee that provides the Beckman director with advice regarding scientific direction, operations and strategic initiative development. It's a leadership body that brainstorms new ideas and offers support within the broader Beckman Institute community.

BIXC is comprised of the research theme co-chairs, as well as a few other faculty members representing other areas of Beckman. Also serving are one Beckman Institute Graduate Fellow, Beckman Institute Postdoctoral Research Fellow, a staff member and a member of Beckman's Connect and Engage Committee.

BIXC members, along with the associate directors and the executive director of communication, meet regularly with the director. Faculty members serving on BIXC also serve on the Faculty Review Committee.
