Illinois Senator Dick Durbin speaks about the critical importance of federal biomedical research funding for the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense. Administrators and professors from the University of Illinois also present their views on the importance of research funding. This presentation was made at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on January 15, 2016.
