Beckman’s Visualization Lab is open for office hours weekdays between 1-3 p.m. in 2203 Beckman, which is located just across the atrium bridge from the elevator.

Manager Jay Cournoyer will be on hand to help users with the Vis Lab’s equipment and other resources for research. The Vis Lab offers data visualization software, high-performance computing, 3D art services, virtual reality content creation and high-speed photography. Have questions? Translating Polymer Innovation into Extreme Environment Composite Structures

Professor Jeff Wiggins from the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi will discuss how polymer innovations for the aerospace and defense composite material communities translate from the laboratory scale through the pre-qualification scale.  He will provide an overview of various program activities which balance future US workforce needs with advanced development demonstration for polymer, carbon and ceramic matrix composites.
