We will hold an orientation on Thursday, August 17, from 12:00 PM -3 PM in 5602 Beckman Institute for the incoming class of 2023-2024.  We will start with lunch from Shawarma Joint. There will be a welcome from our director, brief overview of the committees and the various processes, as well as an introduction to the various grad student resources the program has to offer. There will be a graduate student Q&A panel for the new students.   

Neuroscience Program faculty, postdocs, researchers and graduate students are invited to attend a networking / welcome back event at Triptych Brewing on Friday, August 23, from 4:00-6:30pm at Triptych Brewing (https://triptychbrewing.com/; 1703 Woodfield Dr in Savoy). 

We will provide Drink tickets (2) and Food Truck ticket (1). Outdoor seating will be first come, first served and we will also have an indoor dedicated space. We hope to see you there networking, meeting our incoming graduate students and faculty members from across campus!   Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

Join us at noon on Wednesdays for yoga with a view! All sessions are free and will be held in Beckman's fifth-floor tower room. All are welcome to bring their own mat!
