"Gene x Environment Interactions in Neurological Diseases," by Candice Brinkmeyer-Langford, Associate Professor, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, Texas A&M Health Science Center, School of Public Health

Environmental exposures, ranging from chemicals to pathogens, do not have the same effects in all people because of differences in each individual's genetic background. My lab studies how this genetic diversity influences neurological conditions in context with viral infections and other environmental exposures.
