Phase I provides up to $150K over 6 months to demonstrate feasibility of a project. Phase II provides up to $1 million or more in funding for further technology and business development. Many of the companies in the U of I Research Park, and throughout our community, have leveraged these funds to start, or further develop their innovative technologies.

Conducted by Cogent Innovations, a consulting firm with vast knowledge of the SBIR/STTR programs, the workshops are aimed to help high-tech start-ups gain a competitive advantage in securing these non-dilutive funds.
