Thursdays at Twelve-Twenty Concert Series

The Beckman Institute "Thursdays at 12:20 Concert Series" features performances by members of the University of Illinois School of Music. Performances are held in the Beckman Institute Atrium and run from 12:20-12:50 p.m. The Beckman Institute Café is open for lunch during the concerts and features a variety of beverages, entrees, salads, and desserts.

November 29, 2018
Jooyon Chung, flute, and Dai-An Liu, harp, will perform virtuosic transcriptions of famous orchestral works, such as Claude Debussy's “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and the contemplative “Entr'acte” from George Bizet's opera, “Carmen.” Dai-An will also perform her transcription of J.S. Bach's epic “Prelude and Fugue No. 24 in B Minor” from Book I of “The Well-Tempered Clavier” on solo harp.
