Explain your job in 50 words or less: I develop novel multifunctional polymers and composite materials that respond to a variety of triggering events to perform certain functions including self-healing, self-protection, or rapid materials transformations. I also develop advanced manufacturing and characterization techniques in order to produce such materials systems.

How long have you worked at Beckman? I have been working at Beckman since May 2015.

What do you like to do in your free time? Watching movies, hiking, and hanging out with friends.

What excites you about Beckman? The opportunity to collaborate with research groups from different disciplines. I also find the available resources, specifically the Microscopy Suite, quite useful for my research.
