Robert Brunner




Professor Brunner is a affiliate faculty member of the Image Formation and Processing group at the Beckman Institute. His home department is Astronomy, with affiliations in Informatics, Physics, Statistics, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Robert received his Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University, and completed a postdoctoral position at the California Institute of Technology. Professor Brunner is now focused on the nascent field of data science and is leading new educational opportunities in data science as well as working with companies as the Data Science Expert in Residence at the University of Illinois Research Park.
