Nick JacksonNick Jackson, an assistant professor of chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, accepted a part-time faculty appointment at the Beckman Institute. He will be a member of the Molecular Design and Engineering Group within the Molecular Science and Engineering research theme.

Jackson's research will involve an interdisciplinary effort to combine machine learning with high-throughput computation and experimentation to design next-generation molecular and oligomeric semiconductors.
