Sina Tafti, a Siemens Healthineers clinical research scientist stationed at Carle Foundation Hospital, has accepted an appointment as a research affiliate at the Beckman Institute. Tafti will join the Biomedical Imaging Center team to optimize MRI scanning protocols and help with technology development and integration on Beckman's 3 Tesla Prisma scanners and new 7 Tesla Terra machine. He is also a key partner in the collaborative Carle Illinois Advanced Imaging Center, which will bring research and clinical imaging to the 7 Tesla Terra system.
