Your research in 50 words or less: I’m currently developing low-cost, easily accessible polymeric microfluidic devices that enable high-quality IR spectroscopy and integrate recent advances in high-throughput Fourier Transform infrared (FT-IR) imaging to achieve unprecedented time-resolution in IR spectral data. With this platform, I’m trying to investigate protein misfolding and malfunctioning bioenergetics reactions.
