Shipping and Receiving

Shipping and Receiving

Beckman's Shipping and Receiving Department is in charge of all incoming and outgoing items.

Ryan Wilson, the Beckman Institute's facility operations specialist, holds a box ready to be shipped.

Located on the first-floor northeast side of the building (you can see the truck docks from the east), the Beckman Institute's Shipping and Receiving Department is in charge of receiving most items that are delivered to the institute, including U.S. and campus mail; UPS, USPS, FedExb or other packages; office supply deliveries from OfficeMax and Staples; and even dry ice, gas cylinders, and liquid nitrogen. (Shipping and Receiving stocks these items for use by Beckman researchers.)

In addition, staff members will send outgoing institute mail through the U.S. Postal Service, and package items for UPS shipping, if you need a package mailed.

They have a few small- and medium-size boxes on hand, if you need a box for any reason.

If you have outgoing campus mail, place it in the blue mailbox in the hallway south of the Shipping and Receiving office on Beckman's first floor.
