Exercise Improves Mental Fitness As We Age

Psychologist Kirk Erickson discusses how physical exercise can not only reshape our bodies, but also our brains. Erickson attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his Ph.D. in psychology and worked at the Beckman Institute as a graduate student and postdoc from 2005-2008. He now works as a psychology professor at the University of Pittsburgh and was awarded a Senior Fellowship at the Beckman Institute in 2014.
