Registration for the 5th Biophotonics Summer School (BSS14) ends on Thursday, March 20. Hosted by the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, the BSS14 will be held May 19-30. This is a two-week event aimed at training graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with research interests at the interface between optics and biomedicine. The Biophotonics Summer School combines lectures with hands-on practical and computational labs, delivered by experts in the field.

Tuition and lodging are free for qualified students who apply by March 20. There is a registration fee of $250 if accepted. For more information and the application, please visit the website.

Our previous Summer Schools (NBSS09, NBSS10, NBSS11, and BSS12) were great successes, with attendees from more than 15 countries. The selection process is competitive, based on the applicant’s record and the likelihood of high impact that the summer school will have on their career.
