Spintronics conference set for June 21-23 at Beckman

The Third International WUN Conference on Spintronic Materials and Devices will be held June 21-23 at the Beckman Institute on the University of Illinois campus.

The Third International WUN Conference on Spintronic Materials and Devices will be held June 21-23 at the Beckman Institute on the University of Illinois campus. Conference organizers describe the conference as “a forum for scientists and engineers from academia and industry in the field of Spintronics to share and debate their ideas and progresses in this field.”

Co-chairs of the conference are Jean-Pierre Leburton of the Beckman Institute and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Duane Johnson of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Experts in the field of spintronics from around the world will give talks and discuss current topics such as organic spintronics and spintronic devices in order to “promote international collaboration between various institutions in the field of Spintronics."
