Services the Beckman Institute Provides
The Beckman Institute offers many valuable services to assist faculty, staff, and students. They include the Beckman Café, Information Technology Services (ITS), Catering, Communications, and Security. Each of these services is described below with a link to more detailed information.
Beckman Café
The Beckman Café offers a full lunch menu, as well as coffee, snacks and pastries.
It also caters for events held at the Beckman Institute, such as continental breakfasts,
snacks, and drinks for seminars and other meetings, box and buffet lunches, and
pre- and post-lecture receptions.

Information Technology Services
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides computing services to researchers
and staff at the Beckman Institute. The ITS Help Desk provides the Beckman community
with support for computing, printing and networking services. You can contact us
via e-mail, phone or in person by stopping by Room 5345.

Beckman Catering
The Beckman Café caters for events held at the Beckman Institute, such as continental
breakfasts, snacks, and drinks for seminars and other meetings, box and buffet lunches,
and pre- and post-lecture receptions. The Café does not currently cater for events
that require wait service.

Communications Office
The mission of the Communications Office at the Beckman Institute is to create and
implement communications and marketing strategies that build global recognition
for the Beckman Institute.

Security
The Beckman Institute has a Security Officer on duty daily from 3 - 5 PM (in the
Beckman Administration Suite/Room 1317) and in the evening hours (Room 1319). Security
Officers are in constant contact with the University of Illinois Police Department
and enforce all the rules and regulations set forth by the Beckman Institute and/or
the Campus.
